A beautifully executed English lead wine glass with a round funnel bowl engraved and polished with a butterfly, grapes, and vines. A straight hollow stem leads to a domed and folded foot with a rough pontil. An almost identical example is shown in Plate 78g of Haynes.

An unusually large and beautiful wine glass or small goblet with a deep and crisp honeycomb molded ogee bowl. The stem features an uncommon multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) corkscrew cable. Conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

A beautiful set of four deep cobalt blue glass water goblets. The large ogee bowls have wide fluting and sit atop a bladed knop on a plain stem.

The glasses are 5 5/8" tall, with a bowl diameter of 4 3/8, and a foot diameter of 3 1/2". Polished pontil. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or restoration.

A striking engraved and flashed beaker depicting a woman on a plinth in a classical Roman robe, holding laurel wreaths, with classical buildings and an eagle on a column Underneath this is engraved in German: "Those who put forth the effort will receive the prizes." The flashed lower part of the beaker features cut semi-roundels and other cutting above a scalloped base with a cross-hatched cut bottom.

Condition is excellent except for some relatively minor chips on the base underside...

A striking Newcastle Light Baluster (NLB) drinking glass, featuring a round funnel bowl finely engraved with the arms of George III. The stem has 3 knops leading into a central tear-filled knop followed by an additional 3 knops. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil.

The glass stands a goodly 7 1/2" tall, with a bowl diameter of 3 1/8" and a foot diameter of 3 1/16". Good color and tool marks, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

An extremely fine and tall Newcastle light baluster (NLB) type wine glass. The generous, slightly flaring, pointed round funnel bowl is beautifully Dutch engraved with the armorial coat of arms of Princess Anne, daughter of George II, and wife of Prince William IV, the "Prince of Orange." The stem features a dumbbell knop over an inverted baluster knop, atop a high domed foot.

7 5/8" in height, 3 5/16" bowl diameter, 3 1/16" foot diameter. Please note that the foot is not trimmed...
