A beautiful pair of Georgian multiple spiral air twist drinking glasses. The drawn trumpet bowls are finely engraved with a grape vine, leaves, and bunches of grapes. Conical feet with rough, snapped pontils.
A beautiful pair of Georgian multiple spiral air twist drinking glasses. The drawn trumpet bowls are finely engraved with a grape vine, leaves, and bunches of grapes. Conical feet with rough, snapped pontils.
Condition is excellent, with no chips, scratches, or restoration. The glasses stand perfectly straight, although it does not seem so in the photograph of the two of them together. Good color, striations, and tooling marks. Standing tall at 6 3/4", of hefty weight, and with bowl diameters of 3" and foot diameters of 3 1/8".
